Hello and welcome to ideas.post!, my new online home. As the name implies, this is the place where I'll be posting my ideas for the world to see. If you want to get to know a bit more about me, feel free to take a look at the the about page.
For a while now, I've wanted to start writing things down. So I can look back one year from today and know exactly what I had been thinking. So I can record my thoughts as I'm working on my latest project. But mostly, to give back. I've found that the most valuable information I've learned has been from blog posts. I will be blogging about mostly Ruby, with a little bit of general programming thrown in.
This will be probably my third or fourth attempt at a blog, but I'm glad to say I know why the other ones failed. I wrote and I expected readers to flock in by the dozens. I've realized now that that's not the way to go at it; I write so others can maybe benefit, but this time around I will mainly write for myself. As such, there are no comments on any posts. However, I urge anyone who wants to discuss something to email me directly: me@michaelboutros.com.
